Communication
has long been a problem in the billing service/physician relationship.
Too often billing services are unable to respond to questions effectively,
or they produce reports spanning hundreds of pages with no real
answers. We view communication as critical and as such, we understand
that if the information we provide you is unclear or not useful,
it is our responsibility to take whatever steps are necessary to
correct the situation.
The crux of our communcation responsibility to you
is to answer the three basic questions about your practice:
- Where is your money?
- Are the insurers paying you fairly and according
to contract?
- What can you do to make more money?
Communication is great and it is the foundation of
an equitable partnership, but communication alone isn't enough--we
also need to do a great job at billing.
